Our Services

Laughing During a Meeting

Classes

The NAMI National Office develops and updates our classes, which include a script that the teachers follow and combine lecture and interactive exercises.

All of our volunteer teachers are trained and certified prior to serving.

Each class builds on the one before it and class participants receive reference and resource materials to keep from each class.

Support Groups

We have both in-person and online support groups. They are for all adults, their family members, or partners who are dealing with mental illness.

People can attend any of our groups, no matter their diagnosis or their family member or partner’s diagnosis. They offer both education and support. They are a supplement to the assistance people receive from mental health professionals.

In our groups, people can share information, receive support in a warm and inviting environment, and learn about effective coping skills. Please check our calendar and our newsletter for a schedule and more information.
Classroom

Educational Presentations

We have in-person or online programs provided by local professionals. They discuss various topics about mental illness and mental health. They are open to anyone in the community who is interested. Please see the calendar and our newsletter for a schedule and more information.
